Property no. 1010032
Holiday home for max. 4 persons
Krummin, Usedom, (North of Usedom), Germany
Wonderfully cosy holiday house for a really relaxed island feeling
The holiday house for four people is in Krummin, one of the oldest villages on the island of Usedom. It is on the quiet and heritage-protected old village road and is part of the charmingly restored village idyll. The neighbouring buildings are thatched holiday houses and residential houses. It is 200 metres to the Achterwasser, a lagoon of the Peenestrom that flows into the Baltic Sea.
The garden and terrace are for the exclusive use of guests. The sunny terrace, affording a view of the Krummin church tower, has a big table with six comfortable garden chairs, with cushions in the laundry room. You can take firewood from the store next to it, if the stack in the living room runs out. The site is fenced and therefore also suitable for children and dogs. On one side there is a view of a thatched holiday house, on the other side of the lovely farm garden belonging to the neighbour. There are two parking spaces, which can be secured by locking the gate.
The ground floor of the house comprises a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom with a toilet and the laundry room, with a washing machine. The living room looks out over the garden and provides access to the terrace. The living room provides a sofa bed, a table and two armchairs, as well as a fireplace, satellite TV, a DVD and CD player and a little collection of books (crime, regional tourism, cookbooks). On the threshold to the kitchen there is an oak dining table for six people. The neighbouring kitchen is fully-equipped with brand appliances (dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, toaster, coffee machine, fridge), everything you need for cooking and baking. The bathroom has a bath, a shower and an illuminated and spacious cupboard with a mirror, as well as a hairdryer. It also has a cabinet with fresh towels for use free of charge. The whole lower floor is fitted with under-floor heating. The first floor, accessed up a small spiral staircase, has two generous bedrooms each with double beds. There is also a little toilet. Both bedrooms have double beds 160cm wide which are made with fresh bed linen on arrival. Each also has small bedside tables with lamps, dressers and cupboards. The ceilings with wooden beams are particularly attractive, both upstairs and downstairs in the house. All the rooms have heating.
You can use four bicycles (three for adults, one for a child) free of charge for excursions. There are blankets and a bicycle trailer for a dog available. These and the grill are kept in the little garden shed. The rotary dryer in the garden can be used for drying laundry. There is a highchair available for toddlers. The house does not have an Internet connection. The house is centrally located in Krummin. It is 150 metres to the St. Michaelis Church, which is worth seeing, and 200 metres to the natural harbour. It is 100 metres to two lovely garden cafés. In Zinnowitz, which is 8km away, within easy access by bicycle, you can indulge in the Ostseetherme thermal baths with a swimming pool and sauna, or discover the well-known theatre. There are shops and a doctor in Trassenheide and Wolgast 6km away. There are Baltic Sea beaches 6km away in Karlshagen, Zinnowitz or Trassenheide.
