Renovated timber-framed house with its own garden, ideal for a family
The 101m² detached holiday house is on a quiet side street. It is nevertheless central, only about 200 metres from the centre.
The typical Eifel timber-framed house was built in 1854 for a trade master. It was completely and carefully renovated in 2015. The interior was furnished with new and stylish furniture, reflecting the overall appearance of the house. Decorative wall and ceiling elements were added. All the rooms have TV sets and Internet access, and a DVD player is available. The kitchen is equipped with modern electrical appliances such as a microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, coffee pads machine, kettle, egg boiler and other accessories. There are three bedrooms: a double bedroom (double bed 180 x 200cm) and two single bedrooms (single beds 90 x 200cm). The bathroom has a shower, WC, hairdryer, mirror and washing machine. Small pets are allowed on request.
The garden with a little pond cannot be looked into and is for your own exclusive use. It has garden furniture and a grill.
It is about 250 metres to the town centre and an extensive forested area. It is the same distance to all the necessary shops, banks, a post office, restaurants, bars, cafés, doctors and pharmacies. The Mechernich train station (on the Cologne/Trier route) is 900 metres away. It is 3.5km to the A1 motorway access. You can go on a time journey in the LVR open-air museum in Kommern, discovering the 2000-year history of the lead ore mine in the mining museum, experience local fauna in the Rheinland animal park, experience history live at many themed events at the Satzvey Castle, enjoy leisure fun at the Eifeltor adventure world, immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of the Zikkurat culture and events factory, or relax in the Zikkurat Eifel thermal baths.
