This modern furnished chalet Larix has an additional living space of 90m2 without the 28m2 covered terrace and is located on the 2nd floor of the house. Nature-loving guests will find a dreamlike alpine landscape with fantastic views over the Rhone Valley on the Moos-Alp above Bürchen. Pets are very welcome. The bathroom is bright and has a shower. The flat is equipped with TV (Internet), WLAN, radio & CD and also has a cot. The semi-open kitchen has the usual facilities, as well as a coffee machine. 6 garden chairs plus a garden table are also available so that you can savour the warm summer evenings to the full. The cosy village of Bürchen lies on the south side of the Upper Valais Rhone Valley at around 1360 metres above sea level on a west-facing plateau. In a marvellous and sunny location above the town of Visp. Solar panels have recently (since 2017) been installed on the roof of the holiday chalet Larix. There is a garage parking space within walking distance of the holiday home. The house itself can be reached via a footpath.
Summer
Nature-loving holidaymakers will find a dreamlike alpine landscape on the Moos-Alp, above Bürchen, with a fantastic view over the Rhone Valley and various Valais mountain giants. All the surrounding villages are easily accessible by public transport or by car. Whether in the nearby Turtmann valley or on the Moos-Alp, hiking through the lush green forests, meadows and Alps will make you forget your worries, because here, under the famous Valais sun, you will find an otherwise rare tranquillity with a magnificent panorama. We recommend the 500 kilometres of marked hiking trails or 70 kilometres of mountain bike trails, Nordic walking trails, various themed trails or the Suonen, the historic irrigation channels in Valais.
Winter
The Moos-Alp-Ginals ski region is breathtaking for winter sports. Here you can enjoy snowshoe tours and winter hikes through snow-covered birch and Swiss stone pine forests with superb panoramic views. Queues and crowds on ski lifts and pistes are a thing of the past here. The ski schools guarantee rapid learning success for your first attempts to let off steam on the white splendour. Events, the weekly programme and excellent gastronomy round off the offer and leave nothing to be desired. The ski area includes easy to moderately difficult tours that can also be tackled without a mountain guide. The Augstbordhorn and the Dreizehntenhorn are just two examples.
