Memorable experiences await guests in this simple and functionally decorated holiday home. The spacious studio is equipped with a plush sofa that can be easily converted in to a comfortable double bed. After a relaxing nap, one can wake up to the marvelous sight of the majestic mountains and rich aroma of coffee.
Summer
The hiking area around Veysonnaz extends to the Valais Alps in the south. Enjoy the beauty of nature in the 300 km hiking stretch in Veysonnaz. One may come across numerous cows grazing in the lush green meadows; they are harmless and love to be petted. The flora, fauna and dry meadows of Veysonnaz have stood the test of time due to conservation efforts. The plucking of Silver Thistle flowers or Gentians is discouraged.
Guests will be charmed by exploring the high mountain tours. For example, "Bisse de Vex", is a 15th century 12 km long irrigation channel that has undergone expensive restoration. The area has many irrigation channels with not much difference in altitude, and offers pleasant walking routes and spectacular views of the region.
Winter
Once winter sets in and it starts snowing, Veysonnaz transforms into a winter sports paradise. Veysonnaz is part of the "Four Valleys" (“Quatre Vallées") area which has approximately 400 km of perfectly landscaped slopes. On the "Piste de l'Ours" above Veysonnaz, many World Cup races are held. This is truly a spectacle without comparison! The huge ski area of “Quattre-Vallées” stretches from Veysonnaz and the adjacent “Thyon 2000", on Nendaz, the Mont-Fort (3330 M) across to Verbier and La Tzoumaz. At least 410 km of ski paths for all levels - from beginners to professionals - are available and offer the pleasures of skiing. 95 ski-lifts ensure that you are catapulted to the peaks from the valley to ski down the mountains.
