This fully detached bungalow is located centraly at te holiday park 't Vossenven. The cottage has 3 bedrooms (1 with a double bed and 1 with a single bed), so your child can have his own room. The house has a small terrace. The small-scale holiday park is in a great setting in a large forest surrounding a lovely marsh. Nature lovers will certainly be able to appreciate the park.
Since the park only has limited motor traffic, you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors.

Stramproy is a small North Limburg village with several restaurants that have pleasant terraces, as well as a variety of cafes and well-provisioned shops. Nature preserves such as Tungelerwallen and Stramproy Heath are in the immediate vicinity. Hikers and cyclists will find an extensive network of bike paths. There are also a few golf courses close by, of varying difficulty levels.

You can shop till you drop at the outlet centre in Roermond, about 25 km away, and the always charming city of Maastricht is less than an hour away. A tour of the Limburg hills is another nice activity. If you would like to go for a refreshing dip you can head to the Aquadroom in Maaseik or the IJzeren Man in Weert.

At the edge of the park is a cozy restaurant where you can enjoy a drink or a delicious dinner as a family by the wood stove. On the terrace of the restaurant you have a view over the pond with water lilies and you can see a part of the park and the nearby playground where you can watch the children play.
From the park you can also immediately take a walking route or explore the cycling network.
The Stramprooierbroek is one of the largest nature reserves on the border with numerous special water birds, which you can view from the various bird-watching huts.
The old towns such as the Thorn, Maaseik, Bree and Roermond and a little further on Maastricht and Tongeren are really worth a visit.
The IJzeren Man in Weert and the Aquadroom in Maaseik are a true subtropical attraction for families with children.

    “Het huisje ligt in een klein bosrijk park rond een ven. We moesten de sleutel van het huisje halen in net over de grens gelegen Overbeersel. We waren blij dat we bericht hadden ontvangen dat we wel eerder in het huisje mochten dan de oorspronkelijke tijd. We kregen enige mondelinge informatie en slechts 1 theedoek mee voor de hele week! Het huisje was wel schoon. We misten een afwasborstel en we hadden niet gerekend op een Senseoapparaat voor de koffie. We moesten nog snel nieuwe koffiepads aanschaffen in Stramproy. We hebben een fijne week genoten in het vakantiehuisje. We hadden eigen fietsen meegenomen en hebben naar hartenlust kunnen fietsen en genieten van de mooie natuur.
    Een nadeel was wel dat er nogal wat muggen waren door het ven in het park, waardoor het soms onprettig was buiten te zitten.”
