Our converted barn (old chalet) is situated in Val d’Herens, Valais on a sunny south-facing (1600m) slope below the small village of Eison La Crettaz (Saint-Martin). The Grange is accessible by car or with public transport from the railway station in Sion (approx. 50 min.)
We have no WIFI and the cell coverage is very bad – ideal to relax and enjoy a break ;-).
Our 200-year-old barn (old chalet) is surrounded by nature with a clear view of the Valais Mountains. The outside old-look was perfectly preserved (monument conservation); the inside of the barn is renovated in a modern way. It is ideal for a break from every day life. Beautiful walking-tours (in winter with snow-shoes) are available from the front door. The barn is very suitable for couples (max. 4 adults) and for families (up to 2 adults and 3 children).

The entire barn is available (67 m2). On the ground floor are the main-entrance and the living room (25 m2), which is equipped with a wood burning stove and a sofa bed (1.40 m wide), from where one can enjoy the unique view of the mountains. A toy-box for the small guests also offers distraction. The extension in the back (10 m2) contains the storage room with washing machine and dryer as well as the bathroom with shower and WC.

On the upper floor is the dining room (25 m2), the open kitchen with a central wood heating cooking range and 2 mobile electric cooking plates, one electric oven and one dishwasher. The whole kitchen facilities with Nespresso machine, raclette oven and fondue service are available as well as a table and chairs and outdoor grill. Our natural terrace with outdoor furniture and umbrella is directly accessible from this room.

On the gallery is the “dormitory” for 4 to 5 persons (2 mattresses 1.4m on slatted bed base. For babies / children there is a travel cot, a changing mat, extra down quilt / pillow with matching covers.
