Our house is located in the village Kringa, a peaceful place in the Central Istria.Although Kringa is very quiet, restaurants, shopping, and excursion opportunities are close by.It is also a common destination for tourists and has a lot of vacation houses for renting. Many luxury villas show that the place is extremely popular.There is a great Istrian restaurant just 150 metters from the house and small grocery store 1 kilometer away. A great advantage of coming to Kringa on a holiday is that you get to experience a relaxing and quiet vacation in the heart of Istria but also, because of its location, whenever you want you can go and visit the coast, bigger places and towns around, and most of them like Poreč and Rovinj are under 30 minutes of driving, so you get the best of both worlds.

Villa Martin is a holiday villa built in 1961 and renovated in 2017 in the district of Pavletići (Kringa), about 21 km from the sea. Up to eight people can spend a relaxing time in the 175 m² house, which has a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The facility has many amenities that make your vacation really nice. On hot days, the air conditioning and fans bring pleasant temperatures. The terrace and the two balconies invite you to enjoy the end of the day with Istrian specialties. Of course, the typical stone charcoal grill should not be missing. Next to it, there is a separate dining area for the whole family. If the weather does not invite you to go to the beaches, to spend time in and around the pool, or to go on nice excursions, the house is of course perfectly equipped. A modern kitchen invites you to prepare great dishes yourself with all the necessary utensils. Of course, you can also watch the satellite TV in the living room but also use the internet, and there is even a selection of films on DVD in various languages ​​waiting for you. There are two protected parking spaces available on the property. Anyone who spends their vacation here in the heart of Istria does not want to return home so quickly, but would rather extend the good time and continue to enjoy the amenities of this beautiful region.IMPORTANT: 2 bedrooms have AC, and the other 2 bedrooms have a fan. There is also AC in the living room and dining room.

You can get around the neighborhood by car, by bike, or simply walk. Everything is close by and easily approachable. The grocery store, restaurant, football and basketball court, prosciutto producer are all within 1,2 kilometers from the house, so it's really just a preference. Parking is easy because it's a village and not a lot of traffic and people around.If you want to visit some towns around like the ones on the coast, they are about 19 kilometers from the house and easily approachable by car.Other than Kringa itself, here are some other places around (in kilometers):

    “Wir waren vom 13.08.2022 bis 27.08.2022 in der Villa Martin zu Gast. Wir waren durchweg mehr als zufrieden. Besonderes Lob gilt hierbei Ivan unserem Vermieter. Sowohl der Kontakt vor Reiseantritt (und wir können wirkliche Nervensägen sein wenn es um Details geht) als auch während unserem Besuch war immer Top! Jede Frage oder jedes Anliegen wurde innerhalb kürzester Zeit beantwortet. Hier können sich andere Vermieter eine große Scheibe abschneiden.
    Besonderer Dank gilt hierbei auch seiner Mutter, die uns 2x (davon einmal persönlich) mit Kuchen und Strudel verköstigt hat. Es hätten gern auch ein paar Kuchen mehr sein dürfen, sie waren wirklich super ;-)

    Angereist sind wir mit 3 Erwachsenen, 3 Kindern und 2 Hunden. Zeitweise hatten wir noch Besuch von meiner Schwägerin samt Lebensgefährten. Platz war ausreichend vorhanden, allerdings sollte man kein Faultier sein und 24/7 nur im Haus verbringen. Hier könnte es mit 5 Erwachsenen, 3 Kindern und 2 Hunden auf Dauer etwas eng werden. Aber wer macht schon Urlaub um ständig in der Hütte zu hocken?!

    Ebenfalls positiv zu erwähnen ist das Grundstück was Hunde betrifft. Es ist komplett mit einer Mauer, sowie einem großen Doppeltor samt separatem Eingang umgeben. Unser Malinois (Ausbruchskünstler) hätte keine Möglichkeit gehabt das Grundstück zu verlassen.

    Der Pool war sauber und glasklar. 1x pro Woche kam der Vermieter und hat sich darum gekümmert. Aber nie unangemeldet! Er hat sich immer vorab per WhatsApp gemeldet. Ich vermute andere Kontaktmöglichkeiten wären auch möglich, wir haben immer diesen Kanal benutzt.

    Eine Kleinigkeit gibt es allerdings
    @Ivan: Als Hobbykoch waren die Messer vor Ort nicht zu gebrauchen. Entweder müssten diese ordentlich geschärft oder ersetzt werden. Aber das ist jetzt wirklich jammern auf hohem Niveau :-)

    Wenn wir in dieser Region wieder Urlaub machen, werde ich mich vertrauensvoll an Ivan wenden -> Das Gesamtpaket hat einfach gepasst und es spricht absolut nichts dagegen hier eine weitere gute Zeit zu verbringen!”
