Holiday apartment in Türnitz with barbecue and garden

Very quiet location on the outskirts of Türnitz, in 7 minutes on foot you can reach the town center where there is a grocery store and a bakery. Our house is located at 480 m above sea level in a wide valley, surrounded by mountains up to 1,373 m.

Quiet apartment with large balcony and beautiful view: Bedroom 1: double bed, single bed, Bedroom 2: from 4 adults Living room with tiled stove, satellite TV and 2 sleeping options. Enjoy your meals on the sheltered balcony with awning and watch the starry sky in the evening with a glass of wine. The new kitchen includes the necessary dishes, coffee machine, kettle, 4-plate electric stove and pipe, kitchen utensils, Spices, coffee and cleaning products. Bathroom with a shower: Toilet separate from the bathroom anteroom Bed linen, towels, tea towels are available.



Our covered barbecue area is available to our guests upon request, and you can also light a campfire area.

You will meet people in a wooded valley in the middle of an unspoiled landscape who maintain an intact local life, appreciate celebrations and cosiness and are happy to let guests take part. The area of the market town covers 145.53 square kilometers, of which 85.01 percent is forested. This represents one of the highest forest areas in Austria. The altitude of the community ranges between 400 m (Ausserfahrafeld) and the summit areas of the surrounding mountains, which reach up to 1400 m: Türnitzer Höger, Eibel and Tirolerkogel in the southwest of the valley, as well as Eisen - and Hohenstein in the north. Türnitz offers gentle tourism that guarantees you peace, relaxation, adventure, sport, individual care and comfort. Other sports and leisure options: Skiing: 10 km to Annaberg ski lifts, guided ski tours, Well-marked hiking trails on our local mountains (Türnitzer Höger, Eibl, Eisenstein, Hohenstein) up to 1374 m above sea level. Easy alpine hikes for all nature lovers with refreshment stops. Falkenschlucht natural monument: The Falkenschlucht is a beautiful, year-round water-bearing gorge with steep rock walls up to 100 m high. The length of the gorge is approx. 600 m, bottom width 6 to 20 m, walking time approx. 45 minutes. The way back can also be done via the forest road. The Innenebgrotte natural monument is located on the right before the entrance to the gorge. The grotto is 12m wide, 8m high and deep. A spring that has water all year round rises at a height of around 4m. The water rushes in free fall to the bottom of the cave. The area around the Falkenschlucht is an ancient initiation site with 3 magical circles. Especially at the Iron Gate you can feel the change in the earth's energy or measure it with a rod or pendulum. Visit the newly built natural swimming pool in town and enjoy a wonderful summer day in the pool with food and other leisure fun. The Eibl-Jet (see photo) with its jumps, waves, 11 curves and 1 roundabout promises leisure fun for the whole family.

    “Gut und sauber eingerichtete Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Ortslage. In der Küche war alles notwendige enthalten, geräumiges Schlafzimmer für 3, Wohnraum ausreichende Sitzmöglichkeiten (und zusätzliche Schlafplätze) und großer Balkon mit Blick auf die Berge und Sonne schon beim Frühstück. Selbst Spiele und Spielzeug für Kinder waren vorhanden. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.”
