If you've never thought about spending your holiday in Lucca, this is the perfect opportunity! Here you have the extraordinary opportunity to spend your holiday in a manor house with a private pool, close to the old town, without being affected by the turbulent rhythms of city life. Lucca is one of the few Italian cities that has preserved intact its ancient city walls, within which the city centre is located, and is also home to the most ancient basilica in Tuscany. Be sure to visit the Duomo, the Cathedral of San Martino, whose foundations date back to the VI century. Lucca is also a culturally very active city that hosts many events, such as Lucca Comics, the second most important comic and fantasy fair in the world, the Lucca Summer Festival, where world-famous musicians perform, or Murabilia, a market exhibition where flowers and plants of all kinds are displayed around the city walls. The proximity to Versilia allows you to spend a day at the beach or take part in the Puccini Festival, which takes place in Torre del Lago Puccini in the summer. Don't forget to take your children to Pisa to admire the world-famous Leaning Tower. In this house, which the landlords have named Begonia, there are also valuable books and a piano that is tuned twice a year. If you feel like it, you can of course play it and entertain your fellow travellers. In Begonie's well-equipped kitchen there is also an oven where you can bake authentic Italian pizza! On request, it is possible to hire a chef to prepare dinner or organise cooking lessons (payable locally). A baby cot with an adequate linen set, a portable baby chair and a pushchair are also available on site. At the rear of the house there is a high hedge separating the property from a carpentry workshop.
