Holiday apartment Schwalbennest on the Wurt Sinsum

The apartment is on the Wurt Sinsum just outside the North Sea town Burhave. It is very quietly situated.

Outside there is a large lawn with a swing, grill, terrace with garden furniture. There is a paved parking space in front of the apartment. Other cars can be parked 20 metres away. It is possible to access free Wi-Fi.

The apartment is in an annex to an old farmhouse that is occupied by the owner himself. It is on the ground floor and measures around 90m². You enter into the living room-kitchen of around 38m² with a built-in kitchen equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge with separate freezer compartment, a large table for dining and playing. The lounge area has a seating group with a coffee table and a sideboard with a flatscreen TV (80cm diagonal). To the right of the living room there is a generous bedroom (ca. 20m²) with a double bed, as well as a single bedroom (ca. 10m²). To the left of the living room there is the third bedroom with three beds, two of which are next to each other. The third bed is separated off. To the left of the living room there is also the bathroom with a shower cubicle, bath, toilet and washbasin. The bathroom provides access to the utility room with a washing machine. It has a separate exit with a rotary dryer near it.

Although the house is very quietly situated, the main tourist attractions such as the Fedderwardersiel boat harbour, the beach, the North Sea lagoon and the playing barn in Burhave are only about 2km away, so easy to get to by bike or car.

Your holiday can start straight away, as the beds are med and plenty of towels are provided in the bathroom. It is an old farmhouse built around 1890 that is listed, like the whole of Wurt Sinsum. A Wurt is an artificial mound that was built up around 2000 years ago by the inhabitants as protection against the storm floods in the autumn. It was only much later in the 16th century that they started to build embankments as protection.

    “Wir empfehlen diese Ferienwohnung. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist toll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Gerade für Familien mit kleinen Kindern: absolut zu empfehlen. Pluspunkt: Durch die Lage abseits der Hauptverkehrsstraße kann man die Kinder gut im großen Garten spielen lassen. Dort gibt es auch eine schöne Schaukel und jede Menge Platz zum Ballspielen. Positiv: Herzlich wurden wir von den Eigentümern in unserer Ferienwohnung begrüßt mit den Worten "Wir möchten, dass ihr Urlaub beginnt, sobald sie bei uns ankommen." Und dieses Versprechen wurde gehalten: In unserer geräumigen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichteten Wohnung fehlte es an nichts, ganz im Gegenteil: Die Betten waren bereits bezogen, es gab Badezusätze, Badetiere für die Wanne, Ersatzzahnbürsten für die Kinder, und, und, und. In einem Zimmer war sogar eine kleine Spielecke für Kleine eingerichtet. Super war auch die Küche ausgestattet mit Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle usw. Sogar Gewürze waren vorhanden. Man hat sich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Negativ: Wir haben absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Ausflüge: Jaderpark - Der Jaderpark ist von Butjadingen aus gut zu erreichen. Unsere Kinder (3 und 4) waren begeistert. Es gab sehr viele Fahrgeschäfte die sie nutzen konnten (was ja in anderen Parks wegen der Mindestpreis oft für kleine Kinder nicht möglich ist). Es gab so viele tolle Angebote im Park, dass ein Tag dort kaum ausreicht, um alle Angebote zu testen.”
