Agriturismo consisting of two farms with communal swimming pool in the heart of the Chianti region


On two hills, situated opposite the manor house, lie the farms of Poderi Montarsiccio and Ticciaia with their beautiful buildings, which have been recently restored and are ideally suited to agriturismo. In total, there are eleven apartments on the two farms, all with private garden and own entrances. They have been constructed on two storeys in order to guarantee the privacy of the fifty guests that can be accommodated there.

The swimming pool (14 x 7 metres) is available to all guests from June until September. It is about 800m away from the holiday homes and is situated in absolute silence among the olive groves. Once a week, the pool will remain open till midnight, staged and illuminated with torches.

For guests, a visit to the vineyards and wine cellar including wine tasting (Chianti Classico and Extra Virgin Olive Oil) can be organised. Furthermore, there is a 10% discount on the products for guests.

A grill/barbecue area with a wood stove is available for guests of the agriturismo. In addition, there is a washing and drying room as well as a telephone and fax service at the reception. Our little (young) guests have their own area dedicated to them, with tennis tables and other outdoor play equipment. At the reception, you can, upon request, obtain all the necessary information to organise your cultural visits or excursions into the countryside and make the most of your leisure time.

Holiday Apartment in Barberino Tavarnelle with Private Garden

Our agriturismo is located in the heart of Chianti Classico nestled between the vineyards and olive groves halfway between Siena and Florence. The Siena Florence motorway is easily accessible and our apartments are an excellent base for exploring the quaint hilltop towns of Chianti such as Castellina, Greve and Radda in Chianti, the beautiful art cities as San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena and Florence as well as the Tuscan beaches. Daily trip to Pisa, Lucca and Pistoia are also feasible from our places, as well as the beautiful Val d'orcia region of Southern Tuscany. Even daily trip to Venice or Rome are feasible by fast train or bus.

White Apartmentat Podere Montarsiccio (140 square metres, 8 pax, on 2 floors). Ground floor: 1 double bedroom, very spacious living/dining room with fireplace and its original manger, kitchen with dish-washer and oven, large veranda with table and chairs. First floor: 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with tub/shower and 1 with shower). It is both ideal for a numerous family or a group of friends or colleagues. The large and spacious living area is ideal to gather together for lunch or dinner or to enjoy some hours sipping Vin Santo in front of fireplace. This apartment also impresses with its rustic, country charm through the wooden ceiling beams, rustic furniture and old terracotta floor. The fireplace and the remnants of the old feed troughs, which are reminiscent of how these rooms were in the past, are particularly interesting. A large arched window affords a sweeping view of the hills and the valley.This apartment also has an inviting veranda and a large private garden.We can organize, on request, dinners at your own apartment with km 0 products and vegetables from our garden or perhaps a evening with BBQ with local excellent meat and Fiorentina steak.

Montarsiccio Common Areas and Services: Lovely surrounding with 6 different apartments; all around a very unique cypresses wood with panoramic sights on the vineyards and olives trees, enjoyable sun-set. You’ll surely find warmth, beauty and the comfort you search. At Montarsiccio resort you can enjoy pleasant external common area as solarium, ), playground area and great BBQ area. Free wi-fi 24 hours. Laundry, dryer and ironing equipment available in common premises. Private parking. Swimming-pool (14x7 metres) available for our guests at 1000 metres next to the reception and our winery premises. Swimming pool opening season (1 June-15 September).

    “Traditional rustic accommodation, perfect place for immersive stay in nature. The experience was great! Negativ: User guide or printed booklet with essential information could be left in the room, e.g. list of nearest supermarkets, local things to do that may not be found usually via Google. User guides for some of the kitchen equipment would also be helpful.”
