Holiday apartment with a terrace on a farm

Holiday on a farm – in the Brixner Talkessel surrounded by apple plantations and meadows, right by the cycling and hiking trail, about 2 km from the lake. The apartment is on Schutzengelgasse in Vahrn, a suburb of Brixen.

A cot, highchair and a children’s play corner are available for small children. You are also welcome to explore the farm on a guided tour. For children there are guinea pigs and hares for stroking and furthermore a sandpit and a trampoline are available. In summer ice cream is made from the farm’s own milk.

The holiday apartment measures 70m² and is on the ground floor of a farmhouse built in 2008. It has a bedroom and a living room-kitchen, a bathroom and a guest WC. The bedroom with double bed (1,80m x 2,00m) features solid wood furniture, typical of the region, and a bunk bed (0,90m x 2,00m). In the living room-kitchen, the sofa can be converted into a bed for two people. From the bedroom and the living room-kitchen you have access to your own roofed terrace with wooden floorboards, from which you can enjoy the view of Plose, Brixen’s local mountain. The kitchen is fully equipped, including an oven and a ceramic hob, dishwasher, Espresso machine, fridge—freezer, toaster, hand whisk. The bathroom has a shower and a separate bath, WC and bidet. The apartment also has a separate guest WC. All the floors (tiles and natural wood) have underfloor heating.

It is an ideal location for cycle enthusiasts, as the Brenner Bozen cycle and hiking path runs in front of the house. Those who enjoy bathing can walk to Vahrner Lake about 2km away.

    “Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geräumig und hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Bauernhof, in welchem sich die Ferienwohnung befindet liegt am Rande von Vahrn leider fast direkt über der Brennerautobahn und der Zugstrecke, daher war ein ständiger Geräuschpegel vorhanden. Wenn das nicht wäre, wäre es Idylle pur. Wir waren zwei Erwachsene und ein Hund. Ich denke für Kinder ist es das Paradies.”

    “Der Bauernhof wurde 2008 erbaut, die Wohnung erstmals in 2013 vermietet.
    Dementsprechend neu und unverbraucht ist die Einrichtung.
    Die Wohnung wurde uns in einem absolut sauberen und gepflegten Zustand übergeben.
    Mit einer Fläche von 70 qm ist die Wohnung sehr geräumig und luftig, auch bei hohen sommerlichen Temperaturen.

    Die Wohnung liegt ebenerdig mit eigenem Eingang. Sie hat je einen Ausgang von Wohn- und Schlafraum auf eine mit Blumen und Ranken umgebenen Terrasse mit wunderschönem Blick auf die umliegende Berglandschaft.

    Der Vermieter mit Familie ist sehr angenehm und freundlich und war stets um uns bemüht.
    Wir wurden bestens mit Produkten aus eigenem Garten sowie mit frischen Eiern eigener Hühner versorgt. Es gab immer Hinweise zu Ausflugszielen und aktuellen Veranstaltungen.

    Für uns als älteres Ehepaar, das nicht mehr mit Gebirgsausrüstung auf Hüttentouren geht, war die zentrale Lage der Wohnung wichtig. Alle interessanten Dolomitenziele sind in vertretbarer Fahrzeit erreichbar, deshalb waren auch in dieser Hinsicht unsere Wünsche voll erfüllt.

    Wir können diese Wohnung unbedingt empfehlen.”
