Holiday apartment with use of a garden, in a quiet location
The holiday apartment in the midst of the Schwansen peninsula enjoys a very quiet and rural location.
The non-smoking holiday apartment classified as four-star by the German Tourism Association (DTV) i is on the first floor of the house and provides around 68m2 of living space, comprising a shower room, an open kitchen and dining room, a spacious bedroom with a double bed, a cosy living room with a sofa bed for a third person. The apartment was comprehensively renovated in 2012, newly furnished and equipped for 2-3 people.
Satellite TV, a stereo system and Internet access are provided. There are parking spaces by the house and there is a separate room for storing bicycles, sports equipment etc. A child’s travel bed, a changing mat and a highchair are provided. Guests at the upper holiday apartment have use of a furnished area outside with a grill.
Signposted hiking and cycling trails will make you feel like going on extended tours. You can also go on a trip to the cultural town of Schleswig with Gottorf Castle, the cathedral or the Viking Museum. The town of Kiel (45km) offers the world’s largest sailing event, the “Kieler Woche” in June. You can set off straight from the house for hiking, cycling, fishing, skating etc.
Despite the quiet location, you are close to e.g. the Baltic Sea town of Eckernförde (12km) with its beautiful harbour, the white sandy beach and the romantic old town with many restaurants and shops. The harbour town of Kappeln (12km) also offers a maritime flair and a range of entertainment. You can stroll in and around Kappeln (Deekelsen) on the trail of the ZDF television series “Der Landarzt”. The Baltic Sea town of Damp (4km) has a Fun & Sport Centre, a Vital Centre with a range of beauty and wellness treatments, as well as beautiful sandy and natural beaches. It is not far to the romantic Schlei villages, e.g. Ulsnis, Grödersby, Brodersby or Sieseby. You can enjoy the beautiful nature on the paths along the banks of the Schlei.
