This holiday apartment is located in an upmarket residential area only 400 metres away from the historic town centre of the Calasetta village. The sand beach of Sottotorre is also only 50 metres away, spoiling this accommodation with a stunning view of the waterways of S. Antiocco and the island of Carloforte.
Access to the fenced in property is via a small gate leading to the street. This is very quiet, since the house is at the end of the street. Use of the gate is shared with the owner of the property who lives on the ground floor of the house. On the ground floor, there is also a washing machine and an outside shower which you can make use of.
An outside staircase enables easy access to the upper storey, where the holiday apartment occupies some 60 square metres. The accommodation offers an open-plan living room with a kitchen unit, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a bunk bed and a bathroom. The living room features an air conditioning unit, a sofa bed for one person, television, a long shelf as well as a dining area with a table and six chairs. The built-in kitchen unit includes a fridge, freezer compartment, gas cooker with four hobs, oven as well as plenty of crockery, pots, cups and glasses. A triple-winged French door leads from here to the terrace. The bedroom, also equipped with an air conditioning unit, hosts a double bed, two bedside tables, a mirror and a wardrobe. A balcony is adjoined to the bedroom. The small room comes with a second balcony. This room is furnished with a bunk bed, a bedside table and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a window and is equipped with a sink, a toilet, bidet and a shower unit. In this apartment, an ironing board and iron are at your avail.
The roofed terrace, which you access via the living room, is equipped with a table and four chairs and offers an opportunity to enjoy unforgettable evenings having dinner while enjoying the view of the waterways of S. Antiocco and the island of Carloforte.
Cultural events are hosted in Calasetta, where every summer there is a diverse programme of arts and literature events, as well as in S. Antiocco with its archaeological museum.
Apart from the beach of Sottotorre, which is a linear distance of only 50 metres and in a 250 metres walking distance, there are a further two large sand beaches, which are also in a walkable distance. It is 800 metres to the beach of Saline and to Spiaggia Grande it’s a 2.5 km distance. Furthermore, a short drive by car will take you to about ten more sand beaches. There are also rocky shores, a diver’s and snorkeler’s paradise.
At the marina (600 metres from the hoiday apartment) boats are on offer for rent or you can book a trip with a fishing boat, to visit the island’s bays. You can enjoy fresh fish caught aboard ship or dive into the open sea for a swim.
In Calasetta centre you can rent bicycles, scooters or cars to explore the island on your own. Furthermore, there is a horse stable only a distance of 1.5 km from the apartment, offering you an opportunity to explore the island on the back of a horse.
