This gorgeous holiday home is located in Lambertsberg. Ideal for a family, it has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate 4 guests. This home has a terrace for you to relax with a glass of wine.
The home is only 100 m from the forest. The supermarket is only 4 km away. Try out some local delicacies in the restaurant nearby only 4 km. The lake is only 1 km from the home if you would like to spend a day out around the lakeside.
A fenced garden is accessible for you to have a relaxing time outdoors. Central heating is sure to make your stay cosier. Sandpit and play equipment are available for the kids to enjoy. A table tennis table is kept for your recreational purposes. You can bring 2 pets for a small fee and a dog basket and dog's bowl are also kept for your pet's convenience.
Check-in timings are from 4-6 PM and check out between 9-10 AM.
You can make all kinds of short or long WALKING TOURS starting from Majolire. Quiet paved paths can be followed around the town and in many places in the Eifel, all negotiable with prams. Maps are available in the house.
MOUNTAINBIKERS will fully enjoy themselves here. CYCLISTS should not be afraid of coming across a steep slope. Easier routes can be taken along the Prüm and Kyl rivers.
Families with CHILDREN can go to the many zoos, bird parks, amusements parks and castles in the area. See our material in Majolire. In addition, the forest is nearby our house, very interesting for children with its hills and valleys, and the brooks which run through it. The garden, surrounded by a fence, is suitable for allowing your child or DOG to run free in it.
Trier, the oldest city in Germany, is a must for CULTURE LOVERS. In the Eifel itself there are, in addition to the old traditions, a number of old towns to be seen, and a quick trip across the border to Luxembourg (Vianden and Clervaux) is worth the trip. The manager of the house offers HORSE lovers stabling at his farm for your horse. Horseback riding lessons can also be taken for children too on the small Reiterhof (with trough) 8 km away and around 15 km away at a riding school with a covered hall.
BIRD lovers will be able to see many birds of prey which circle above the mountain pastures in Majolire. The red kite nests right by our house.
WILD FLOWERS (orchids along the shoulder of the roads) are in abundance in the spring and summer in the woods and in the mountain pastures. In the summer, the Valley of the Irsen is interesting, with many special BUTTERFLIES AND PLANTS.
There is the opportunity to go SWIMMING in one of the many outdoor and indoor swimming pools in the area. In the municipality of Arzfeld itself, there is a reservoir with a swimming area suitable for those who know how to swim, while in Bitburg there is a reservoir for boating. White water canoeing can be done on the Ourthe, just across the border from Luxembourg.
In de AUTUMN there are of course the beautiful colours to be admired in nature, while a descent to the Moezel is recommended to experience the wine festivals.
Lambertsberg is 500 m high. SNOW is sometimes there (but not always unfortunately) in December, January and February. The surrounding hiking area is very suitable for CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING and going for walks in the winter.
Cross-country skiing: the winter sport area 'Schwarzer Mann' (697 m high) 14 km to the northwest of Prüm with 2 ski runs of respectively 700 and 800 m in length (with ski lifts) and 3 ski runs of 18 km total and a toboggan run for children. A snow cannon may also be installed.
The Wolfsschlucht winter sport area (570 m high) is 3 km away to the northeast of Prüm, also with ski, cross-country and toboggan runs.
There is also skating in winter at the Bitburg skating rink from November to April.
There are Christmas markets and concerts from 24 November to 23 December.
