This newly renovated studio enjoys private fishing in the onsite lake, ideal for a relaxing holiday. Walk along the nearby canalside and watch the birds or visit nearby Saint Omer with its history, market gardens that can be reached only by boat, cobbled squares, shopping, restaurants or spend a day at La Coupelle with its fascinating WWII history. Close to the northern sandy beaches for a day out or travel further afield to Arras with its weekly market, squares and belltower or venture across the border to visit the Belgian city of Bruges with its canals and beautiful architecture. Lille is easily reached for museums, lovely architecture, famous belltower and Christmas markets.

    “Sehr romantisch (an einem kleinen See, großer Garten) gelegen. Wer hier ausspannen und Ruhe genießen möchte, ist hier absolut richtig. Die Vermieter sprechen ein bisschen Englisch sind aber sehr, sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet (auch ohne WLAN ;-) ) die Küche ist funktionell eingerichtet. Das Bad ist ein bisschen klein, man gewöhnt sich dran. Alles war sauber und in gutem Zustand. Im Garten gab es mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten, überhaupt war der Garten sehr schön angelegt. Wem die Enten (vom See) nicht stören, der kann auch im Garten die Mahlzeiten einnehmen. Das Haus ist etwas umständlich zu erreichen, wenn die Straße (die romantisch am Kanal entlang führt) so schmal wird, dass 2 PKW's nicht mehr aneinander vorbeifahren können, hat man auch schon das Grundstück erreicht. Also nicht verzweifeln, wenn man denkt die Welt ist hier zu Ende - weiterfahren! Das hat aber auch den Vorteil, dass es hier wirklich sehr ruhig ist, es fahren daher auch kaum Autos die Straße entlang. Das nächstgelegen Städtchen kann man aber auch gut zu Fuß erreichen (ca. 20 min.) und dort essen gehen, Bier trinken oder um einzukaufen.”
