Renovated holiday accommodation on a former manor estate very close to the castle
The holiday house is a former manor estate right below Ernegg Castle, away from the tranquil Steinakirchen am Forst. It is situated amidst picturesque nature between the metropolises Vienna and Linz.
In front of the building there is a wonderful garden with a sitting and grill area, affording a view of the castle.
The four-sided courtyard building was recently newly restored and offers inviting apartments flooded with daylight, which can be booked either separately or together. This accommodation consists of a spacious apartment on the first floor, comprising two large double bedrooms each with an adjoining bathroom, a generous lounge and two further smaller rooms with sofa beds. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed with bedside tables and reading lamps. It also has an elegant sitting corner with two armchairs and a sofa next to a grand piano. The other bedroom has two single beds next to each other with comfortable single mattresses, as well as bedside tables and reading lamps. There are radiators in front of the high windows, which allow plenty of daylight in, or else can be darkened with thick curtains. The living room has a generous layout and a three-seater sofa with four chairs. A TV provides entertainment.
It is 1500 metres to the locality, where restaurants, shops and an outdoor pool await your visit. The accommodation and Ernegg Castle lie between two golf courses: the challenging 9-hole course behind the castle with a breathtaking view of the surroundings, and the 18-hole championshiop course in front of the castle at the foot of the castle hill and in the Kleine Erlauf valley. The landscaoe in the beautiful Mostviertel is breathtaking. There is also a wealth of places of historical and cultural interest, such as castles, monasteries, abbeys and Wachau.
This holiday accommodation is ideal for accommodating additional guests at larger parties in the castle, but can also be rented by the week from Sunday to Saturday as a holiday house.
