Holiday apartment in a guesthouse, with a grill pavilion and use of a garden
The holiday apartment newly furnished in 2014 is in Lichtenhain at the edge of the Sächsische Schweiz (Saxonian Switzerland) National Park.
The apartment provides around 45m² of living space and is on the first floor of a former farmhouse where the owner also lives. There are further guest rooms on the ground floor and in the attic. The access to the apartment and to the rooms is through a shared entrance and stairwell. The apartment is light, friendly and has modern furnishing, with satellite TV, a dishwasher and free Internet access. The open kitchen provides all the necessary cooking appliances and the comfortable sitting corner has enough space for all guests. The first bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed (180 x 200cm) and a spacious wardrobe. The second bedroom has a bunk bed (90 x 200cm). The modern bathroom is fitted with a rain shower and is very light due to the big window.
The site of 2400m² provides ample space for children to play. There is also a grill pavilion. The car parking space is by the house or on the opposite side of the road.
The local mountain, which is ideal for a picnic (about 100 metres away), affords a wonderful all-round view of Winterverg, Affensteine, Schrammsteine, Königstein and Lilienstein, Unger and Tanzplan, the Vulkankegel in Bohemia and Kuhstall. Destinations in the Hintere Sächsische Schweiz and in Kirnitzschtal are easy to access from the house. It is 3km to the Lichtenhainer waterfall. The nearest shopping facilities are about 4km away.
