    “Alella itself is a very cosy small village where you can get most of the day-to-day groceries and some very good bakeries for bread. It's only a short drive to the harbour with a lot of restaurants to choose from. And if you want to go to the beach, there are several in short reach by car.”

    “Ich wandle gerne auf den Spuren der Geschichte. Auch Alella hat da Interessantes zu bieten, aber das steht in keinem Reiseführer. Leider kommt man deswegen auch nicht überall hin, aber immerhin, es gibt was zu sehen. Fotos findet man auf meiner Webseite www.drmartinus.de.
    Wichtig war natürlich die Nähe zum Meer (gut, zu Fuß kann man das nicht machen, erstens sind es rund 4-5 km und zweitens geht es zurück dann steil bergauf), nur ist das nicht mehr Alella, sondern El Masnou. Schöne Strände allemal, und wenn man weiter die Costa Brava hochfährt, hat man tolle Sightseeing Möglichkeiten in erträglicher Entfernung.
    Es gibt einen großen Parkplatz im Zentrum von Alella, nah bei der Bushaltestelle, wo regelmäßig Busse nach Barcelona fahren. Das ist das Sinnvollste, mit dem Bus zu fahren, da ist man schneller da (eigene Spuren für Busse).”
