show more peaceful area of Baška on the island of Krk, a mere ten minute walk from the popular Vela plaža beach. The Villa is a family project developed after years of committed work in tourism. We want our guests to feel at home, which is why we offer marvellously decorated apartments with enough space for all activities you are used to in your everyday lives. We value high quality and comfort above all else because we believe our guests to be deserving of a good rest and a peaceful vacation.
Baška is the most popular tourist destination on the island of Krk. You can reach the island by a bridge connecting it to the mainland or by airplane that will leave you at Omišalj airport. Baška has only 900 residents, but during the summer season we welcome more than 10.000 tourists in private accommodation, hotels and camps.
Many come to Baška to take a dip in the popular pebble beach Vela plaža (The big beach) which is great for children because the depth of the sea gradually increases, leaving a lot of room to play in the shallows. There is a five kilometres long promenade by the beach teeming with bars and restaurants with a diverse offer bound to satisfy every palate.
The port is full of taxi boats taking tourists all around the island, to locations you could never have dreamed existed. The beaches also have areas with many sports activities for children as well as adults: diving school, paragliding, water scooter, sailing school and sail renting. You can also go on a day long trip in one of the excursion boats which will take you to nearby islands.
Baška is situated in a cove, surrounded by vineyards, olive gardens, pine woods, bathed in a relaxing scent of Mediterranean herbs. You can go for a walk or mountain biking on the roads of hills surrounding Baška, climbing the karst rocks or go zip lining, where you can take the most original photo in Baška.
If you are searching for an original souvenir, you can choose between olive oil, sage honey, fig jam, sheep milk cheese, homemade wine and liquors.
The summer season in Baška is full of events, such as traditional celebrations: Fisherman's day, Black sheep, a biking tour, concerts, exhibitions and many other events that will introduce you to our culture and costums.
We also reccommend you visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park inscripted onto the UNESCO World Heritage List.
