    “Zum Ort kann ich nicht viel sagen...der Ort ist sehr klein...wir waren hauptsächlich in Villach unterwegs.
    WICHTIG: SCHNEEKETTEN nicht vergessen! Ohne Schneeketten ist das Haus bei Schnee kaum zu erreichen.”

    “Im Ort gibt es mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch sonst alles was man benötigt. Die Touristen Information im Ort war sehr hilfreich. Leider liegt der Ort an der Durchgangsstraße und es gibt keinen eigentlichen Ortskern. Die Pizzerien vor Ort sind nach meiner Meinung eher durchschnittlich. Schade ist, dass das ehemalige großzügige Strandbad geschlossen wurde und jetzt privat ist. Es gibt jetzt nur noch ein kleines Strandbad in der Nähe.
    Überhaupt ist der Zugang zum ganzen See sehr erschwert, da fast alles privat ist und es für einen Badeurlaub dringend anzuraten ist eine Unterkunft am See, oder zumindest mit eigenem Seegrundstück zu buchen.”

Hier ist ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und eine herrliche Aussicht auf den Ossiacher See. Fahrradverleih in Bodesdorf am Bahnhof - preiswert und kompetent. Weitere Freizeitmöglichkeiten rund um den See sind ausgezeichnet, Besuche in Klagenfurt, Velden und Villach sind empfehlenswert. Ein Tandemflug mit einem Paragleiter von der Gerlitzen (a.1911 m hoch) ist möglich und aufregend.”
