    “Castiglion Fiorentino ist ein nettes Örtchen mit kleiner antiker Innenstadt. Es gibt ausreichen Restaurats und Bars. Fünf Supermärkte bieten alles, was man für seinen Aufenthalt benötigt. Bank mit Geldautomat ist auch vorhanden. Wer einen Wochenmarkt besuchen will, sollte doch den Markt in einer größeren Ortschaft ins Auge fassen, da der Markt in Castiglion aus ca.15 Ständen bestand und doch eher rudimentär war. Kann aber auch an unserer Reisezeit Ende Sptember gelegen haben..
    Sehr sehenswert ist die Stadt Cortona im Süden von Castiglion Fiorentino. Diese ist mit dem Auto in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Tolle Innenstadt und nicht so überlaufen wie zum Beispiel Arezzo oder Siena.”
