    “Da das Haus in den Bergen liegt, sind Wanderausflüge zwangsläufig bergig, aber ab einer Höhe von 1800m traumhaft schön und unvergesslich. (Trekkingstöcke, Rucksack, erleichtert vieles) Im Umland gibt es die Gletschermühlen mit Namen Cavaglia. Absolut sehenswert. Die Anreise mit dem Auto aber ein unvergessliches und beeindruckendes Abenteuer. Es gibt wohl auch die Möglichkeit mit der Bahn dort hinzufahren. Auch der Lago di Poschivavo, der Lago di Mortirolo sowie der Stausee Bacino Roasco sind schöne Ausflugziele zum Wandern. Grosotto und Grosio sind beides kleine Städtchen fernab der Touristik. Dennoch sind die Orte durch Ihre engen Gässchen sehenswert. In den Orten sind Einkaufmöglichkeiten gegeben.”
