“Kanica is a small village about 15 minutes' drive from Rogoznica. The latter has supermarkets and some nice restaurants. Kanica itself has just a couple of bars, one of which is also a restaurant which we enjoyed. Apart from that, there are no shops, although a baker and a fruit 'n' veg seller do the rounds early each morning. If you're looking for a peaceful break, Kanica is perfect. If you're after action, nightlife etc., it's probably not for you. Split is just about an hour's drive south and highly recommended for a day-trip.”

“Kanica an sich ist ein kleiner ruhiger Ort, jedoch sind sehenswerte Städte/Orte sehr schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar! Einen kleinen Supermarkt gibt es in der Nähe des Ortes und jeden morgen fährt ein Händler mit seinem Auto durch die Straßen und verkauft frisches Obst/Gemüse, Brot und manchmal auch Fisch & Meeresfrüchte. Größere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind aber auch in 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar.”
