    “De winkels en supermarkten liggen buiten het dorp, maar is qua afstand goed te doen. Verse brood bij de bakkers, een grote supermarkt waar alles te kopen is. Verschillende cafe's. Stranden zijn anderhalf uur tot 2 uur rijden dus te doen. Fijne locatie lekker rustig gelegen, een echte relax vakantie.”

    “In de plaats La Croix-Avranchin is niet echt een winkelgelegenheid. Maar op ongeveer dezelfde afstand van het huisje ligt St- James. Dit is een leuk stadje en je kunt er terecht voor de meeste boodschappen. Het is er gezellig winkelen. Het dorpje waar het huisje staat is klein maar fijn. Heerlijk rustig en het echte boerenleven kun je er nog vinden. Je kunt prima wandelen in de omgeving. Vooral 's morgens vroeg en rond zonsondergang kun je veel wild spotten. De mensen zijn vriendelijk en zullen je altijd gedag zeggen. We hadden het idee dat ze het leuk vonden dat we er waren. De taal was een barriere, anders hadden we volop kunnen babbelen met de mensen.
    Kortom, we hebben erg genoten en hebben Frankrijk leren waarderen, mede door dit vakantieplekje.”
