Fiesta da Raia, which has been celebrated for more than 10 years every weekend prior to the Easter week (although this can vary). For these fiestas, a large area is sectioned off in the quayside so you can try typical dishes of Portonovo, the best caldeirada in the world, as well as whole sardines. There is also the Annual Motorbike gathering which takes place every year on the 2nd weekend in September, where motorcyclists come from all over Spain and abroad. There are spectacular acrobatic shows with motorbikes and cars. Important city with 17000 inhabitants directly by the sea, in a convenient position, 20 km west from Pontevedra, 71 km south from Santiago de Compostela, 44 km north-west from Vigo. All shops, restaurants etc. in the resort. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 20 km. Access: access via a road. San Miguel Breamo 2 km. San Juan de Villanue 3 km.
