    “The villa is not actually in Sesmarias, its located West just below Lagoa and slightly West of Carvoeiro. The area was very quite and you have a couple of restaurants in walking distance (within 30 mins) and a few more a little further. There is also a very basic supermarket about a 25 min walk away. I would recommend getting a hire car as the main supermarket is less then 10 mins drive up to Lagoa and is on the Southern edge of the town, its basically a UK supermarket with everything you would typically see at home, not the cheapest but is a one stop shop for everything you need.
    The beaches are seriously something else, they’re clean, sandy with lovely sea. Instead of large linear beaches they’re small coves surrounded by high cliffs. The closest is literally a 6 min drive away.
    We had a 4 year old and 10 month old in our party and found both were kept entertained, the complex has a kids park/climbing frame and also have basic entertainment on throughout the evenings (face painting etc.)”

    “Absolut empfehlenswert, ein bisschen ruhiger als das benachbarte Albufeira, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, nächster Strand ca 700 m zu Fuß erreichbar.”
