    “Der Ort besteht nur aus 10 Häusern ohne Einkaufsmöglichkeit oder Restaurants, aber das findet man in Garz (Supermarkt mit Bäcker) und den umliegenden Orten, z.B. Putbus. Ganz in der nähe findet man Sandstrände, die nicht überlaufen sind, dafür teilweise auch keine Verpflegungsmöglichkeit oder Toiletten bieten. In Swantow selber findet jeden Montagabend ein Konzert in der Kirche statt. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier goldrichtig, wer aber mal eben zu Fuß bummeln gehen möchte ist hier völlig falsch.”
