    “Weinig te beleven in Vallorcine. Geen winkels, geen gezelligheid. Het nabij gelegen Chamonix is geen bergdorp voor mensen die van de rust van de bergen houden. Het is een zeer toeristische bergstad. Daartegenover staat: prachtige bergen. En een prima en gevarieerd wandelgebied. Vergelijkbaar met Zermatt en Grindelwald. Vallorcine is via Zwitserland zeer goed met de auto te bereiken en een prima alternatief voor het Entremont gebied in Zwitserland. Voor rustzoekers: kies Vallorcine in plaats van Argentiere of Chamonix. In de regio kan je met de engelse taal prima terecht.”
