    “Valras ist ein klasse Ort. Es ist alles recht überschaubar und trotzdem gibt es genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Besonders reizvoll ist für uns der jeweils am Montag und Freitag stattfindende Markt. Hier kann man alles Kaufen von Obst und Gemüse bis hin zu Kleidung. Da sich Valras (leider) inzwischen als Badeort einen Namen gemacht hat, gibt es genügend Restaurants/Imbisse und Lokale (in jeder Preisklasse). Die Gegend um Valras hat viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu bieten, z.B. Tropfsteinhöhlen oder in Beziérs die Kathedrale oder die neun Staustufen. Langweilig wird es uns hier nie obwohl wir schon sein über 30 Jahren immer wieder herkommen.”
