“The interior of the house is very modern and comfortable but was let down by exterior and service from interhomes. From their poor and inaccurate communications from point of paying the remaining balance to how poor they responded to issues when staying in the property.

The pool man arrived on our first Thursday and told us shortly after that there was something broken and he couldn’t clean the pool. He said he was going to get go ahead from the owners and return to fix it. We didn’t see him until the following Thursday, our second last day. The pool which was dirty anyway when we arrived got even dirtier as the whole filtration and cleaning system was turned off during the time he had not been back. And even after he cleaned the pool it was still cloudy and unappealing.

We also had issues with WiFi when we arrived, a technician arrived shortly after with a portable modem. This worked intermittently for our stay. We were never able to log into the house WiFi, the password never worked.

The sliding door locks didn’t work which left house insecure and the main bathroom toilet didn’t flush, both of which I notified interhomes of and nothing was done about this during our stay.

The electric gates were also broken which was a nuisance as there is no space to stop outside. So every time we were coming or going we had to manually open the gates, made more difficult when arriving at house as there was no space to stop outside. I had to park across road down street, walk over open gate and go get car to drive in.

If the pool had been cleaner and also the grounds been bit cleaner instead of been untidy with foliage and olives from the olive tree, this villa would have been more enjoyable. As I said it was the exterior and interhomes which let this property down.

The house is located a bit outside of the resort of denia but not too far. There is a bus service into the town which stops right outside the house gate but I would recommend having a rental car for your stay.

This was the first time we booked through tui/interhomes and sad to say it will be the last time. It will be back to holidaylettings.co.uk or owners direct next year.

If the owner of this house got the pool cleaned and a new agent to manage it I think this would be a fantastic house to stay in. It is in a nice area which is relatively quiet, you don’t really notice the passing traffic.

The last annoying “straw which broke the camels back” was when dropping the keys back was when we made a point to be at the interhomes office at 9am to drop back the keys rather than drop them in post box at earlier outside of their opening hours. I stood outside office just before 9am waiting for them to open. On walking back and forth for few minutes I thought I someone in office out of corner of my eye, there were also lights on. Eventually at 9.05 I reluctantly put keys and modem in their post box which was the out of hours instructions. I walked back to car and then drove past office. As I drove by I then saw a man in the office sorting through papers behind the counter, and the front door and blind still closed. I find this total lack of timekeeping and resepect for your customer typical of the service they provide.

I feel sorry for TUI and also potentially this villa owner as this probably doesn’t reflect well for them, so maybe they need to address these issues with Interhomes.

Poor poor service has made this attractive villa look very bad.” “The interior of the house is very modern and comfortable but was let down by exterior and service from interhomes.
