Gorgeous villa in a quiet location on the Costa Brava with a swimming pool, a large terrace, garden panoramic views


This charming and spacious villa is in a residential district in natural surroundings in the charming village Palau-Saverdera on the Costa Brava, close to the French border and affording a panoramic view of the Golf de Roses and the Pyrenees. It is ideal for a relaxing holiday by the sea. It has no direct neighbours and faces south on a hill with little traffic or noise.

The holiday villa provides all the necessary amenities and its 157m² of living space can accommodate up to eight people. Two supplementary beds (100 x 200cm) can be provided on request. On the ground floor, the house has two bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The 20.5m² first bedroom is furnished with a double bed 160cm wide and has a 9m² bathroom with a bath. The 24m² second bedroom also has a double bed 160cm wide and a 7.5m² shower room with a walk-in shower. Each bedroom also has a built-in cupboard. The upper floor comprises two further bedrooms, a kitchen, two bathrooms, a living room and a terrace. One bedroom measures 12m² and has a double bed 160cm wide and a built-in cupboard. The 6m² bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower. The second 17m² bedroom also has a bed 160cm wide and a built-in cupboard. The second bathroom measures 6m² and has a walk-in shower. The generous 52m² living room with an open kitchen has a large window front with access to a 19m² terrace. The very modern kitchen with a breakfast bar is fully-equipped.

From the ground floor, you have access to a laundry room with a washing machine, to the 29m² terrace and the 8 x 4-metre pool with an outdoor shower. The pool depth varies from 130 to 180cm.

Please note that for occupancy with four or less people, only the upper floor is available.

The area is suitable for walking, hiking or cycling in the nearby nature reserves. You can hire bicycles locally. Several restaurants (gourmet restaurants and local cuisine), grocery shops, a bakery, a butcher, a pharmacy, a doctor and a post office are nearby. You can set off directly from the house along many hiking trails through the Aiguamolls and Cap Creus nature reserves. In Roses 6km away there are further shops and beaches.

    “Das Objekt ist ein älteres Haus mit zwei voll nutzbaren Wohnungen und eigenem, gepflegten Pool. Die Ausstattung ist teilweise neu - Insgesamt gut nutzbar. Die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss leidet etwas durch einen sonderlichen Geruch - eventuell durch Heizungsentlüftung des Nachbarhauses entstehend. Die Lage des Hauses ist hervorragend mit Sicht auf die komplette Bucht von Roses. Leider haben wir permanent unter einer wohl nicht vermeidbaren Ameisenplage gelitten. Chemie half kurzzeitig, dann waren die Haustiere wieder da.”
