Holiday apartment with a large garden – just a few minutes from the historic centre of Rome


The holiday apartment for four people is part of a small villa from the 20th century, which is located in Monteverde in Rome.

The building was renovated in 2007. The owner lives in the villa, but the holiday apartment is exclusive and separate. The apartment comprises a kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms. The kitchen is equipped with all standard appliances such as a stove, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine and microwave. The bathroom has a shower. The bedrooms have a total of four single beds, or two single beds and one double bed if required. The apartment is also equipped with a flatscreen TV, a washing machine, and a laptop with Internet access that you can use free of charge. Hand towels and bedlinen are provided by the hosts.

In the outdoor area you can enjoy fine weather in the large garden, as well as meals outdoors. A barbecue and garden furniture are provided.

There are bus and tram stations nearby, about 200 metres away. The tram runs every five minutes and at the weekend even until 3.00 at night. Therefore it is easy to get to the historic centre of Rome with all its attractions. Bars and pubs, shops and restaurants are also in the immediate vicinity. The nearest train station is about 2km away, while it is about 20km to the airport.

    “Die kleine Villa, in der sich die Ferienwohnung im Souterrain befindet, liegt in einer angenehmen Wohngegend. Zu den Haltestellen von Bus und Straßenbahn geht man 6-8 Minuten. Die Wohnung ist nicht sehr groß, aber ausreichend und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Und sauber. Die Betten sind sehr angenehm. Die Miniküche ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber funktionstüchtig. Die Dusche ist klein, die Öffnung sehr schmal. Dafür gibt es ausreichend Ablagen und Stauraum in der Wohnung. Ein absolutes Highlight: zur Begrüßung gab's vom freundlichen Vermieter selbstgemachte Marmelade und Limoncello aus eigenen Zitronen, eine Flasche Wein, 2 Liter Milch im Kühlschrank und süße Teilchen für das erste Frühstück. Preis/Leistung ist für Rom absolut in Ordnung. Ebenfalls in ca. 6-10 Minuten zu Fuß von der Wohnung entfernt befinden sich kleine Lebensmittelläden, Bäcker und ein paar wenige Restaurants. Die Innenstadt ist mit der Buslinie 870 über den Westen (Richtung Vatikan) zu erreichen oder mit der Straßenbahnlinie 8 in östlicher Richtung zur Piazza Venezia.”
