    “Man muss nicht unbedingt ins Zentrum fahren, auch Monte Verde bietet einige Ausflugsziele. So ist der Piazzale Garibaldi nicht weit und mit einem Spaziergang von der Wohnung aus zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Von der Terrasse vor dem Denkmal genießt man einen wunderbaren Blick auf Rom. Sehr nahe ist der Park Villa Doria Pamphilj. Unsere gewohnten Joggingrunden mussten nicht ausfallen und am Abend wird Yoga angeboten, jeder kann mitmachen und es kostet nichts. Im Stadtteil bekommt man alles in Laufnähe, Gemüse- und Obsthändler, Fleischer, Bäcker und ein Supermarkt (Coop) sind gut zu erreichen. Leckeres Eis für die Spaziergänge gibt es auch und vor allem billiger als im Zentrum.”
